Great news! We now have physical CD copies of our new album "When We Were Astronauts and Other Stories" and it looks and sounds great. We will of course have copies for sale at upcoming gigs, it's a lovely gatefold slipcase containing an 8pp booklet of lyrics and photos, and of course eleven songs for you to enjoy :-) The album will be available online from September 1st.  Buy the album from the home page of the site on the left...

A few months ago we spent a lovely day in Chirk, Wales recording for The Narrowboat Sessions.   They picked our song 'Lights' the title track off our last album to promote to their TV Channel.   If you wish to take a look here it is, and their facebook page is located here . We feel very blessed here at "The Thing" HQ, for it is our pleasure to announce we have had a 3rd review this year of our work. Earlier in the year FATEA Magazine reviewed our ' GIG'  in Leigh with Merry Hell, then they reviewed our album ' LIGHTS ' and now they have kindly reviewed our new EP ' The Trysting Tree '.   Considering FATEA receive 1000s of pieces of music work in a year we feel very lucky that we are making on their wonderful...

We had a great time with the wonderful folks at the Narrowboat Sessions in Chirk Marina Wales,  with Mark  Holdsworth and his crew.
